I’m partial to the black and gold version. No idea which dyes would be best for those materials or which you have.

Not a fan of the armour, but I do like the colour combo and obviously the hat is brilliant

Agreed with Randulf, number 2 is better.

I would recommend finding a slightly less bright white dye to use on the shoulders, gloves and shoes though. To me, the most strikingly obvious thing that disrupts the “flow” through the mix is how the white looks a little mismatching.

Also agreed with Randulf again, I’d recommend finding a white and gold weapon, or taking one of the colours from the phoenix greatsword and incorporating that in the dye pattern. (Possibly not with both of the white and gold dyes though, I think white/gold/red or white/gold/grey would clash terribly on this armour)

Well, I personally add a third tone to my armours for effect, but I think that will work. the weapon is a decent match too.

The key thing is if you like it. Because everything else is irrelevant

Male norn are all eyesores that look like they jumped straight out of Gears of War even with selecting the least bulky frame.

Not much can be done other than choosing another species.

I must note that I do realize GoW came out way after GW1 which had norn…but norn did not look like bloated meat sacks in GW1 like they do in GW2 (which seems to have been influenced by GoW, sadly).

See, this is why my human and Norn characters are all female, just as most of my characters in GW1 were female. With all due apologies to the design team, the designs for male human/Norn characters have just, in the main, never personally appealed to me. Plus which, I have a thing for the type of statuesque Amazon that Norn women so often turn out to be, and have ever since I first made Jora’s acquaintance in Eye of the North. :P

Keep in mind you asked for opinions:

1. Obtain an actual GOLD metal dye and use it (Sand is cheap alternative and Dijon (that you get for free) is actually pretty decent on metal).
2. Get rid of the hat. (Silly isn’t a good male Norn look, IMO).
3. Cover face with a helmet or facial hair (makeover kit required). Anything to cover a male Norn face has a high likely hood of improving the character’s looks.

It appears that your norn is so ugly because norn males are ugly, and also you have terrible fashion sense.
