Why is so much lore in wiki and not in game?
Money. Simple as that.
Adding all the lore (in an appealing way like a cinematic) would require just too much work and resources and Devs don’t work for free.
That and time. Devs must work with what they have and they don’t have too much time either.

They could put this stuff in the game in some sort of book…or text on an NPC that’s talking. It wouldn’t take that much work.
If people are going to read it in the wiki, why can’t they read it in game?
I’ve always objected to having to get my information from the game website or a wiki or a guide on a site. I play these games to immerse myself. Every single time I have to leave the game to find something out, it makes the game less appealing to me.

Exactly, thats a cheap and very good solution
And if people can read it in the wiki, why they would read it in-game?
I mean, not against the idea but to be honest, how many of us read the text in-game?
I do it but sadly, most people just want to rush, get rewards, demand new content, repeat.

Thats why im talking about the lore lovers such as myself, i read the text because i like it but im disapointed when i got to search for more info
Except for the occasional blog, where do the wiki contributors get their lore? I was under the impression most information for the wiki came from in-game. I am curious where most of it comes from.
