Why is the cannon disabled that launches you in dissea
I wonder if it has anything to do with the bet the one guy will ask if you want to place. I made the mistake of placing a bet by not reading carefully, my own fault I know. But at this level it wiped out half of my gold with a 50s bet. Wish I chose the correct answer then I would have made some quick gold.
Actually, that event has been buggy off and on. It’s probably just out for a needed overhaul.

It’s based on previous experience such as the straits skill challenge so i’m being a realist
For me the cannon hasn’t worked at all. It won’t let me interact with the cannon and when I spoke to the npc, he keeps saying I am not a good match to be a test subject.
The cannon event was working yesterday afternoon and I was able to reach that vista, but I was still completely disappointed by the experience because it just gave a loading screen after clicking on the Cattlepult and then I was on top of the tower. Let’s face it: flying through the air in videogames is fun! We love jump pads in Unreal and Halo, and some of the most fun puzzles in Portal involve being launched through the air all over the kitten place (I actually typed out kitten…someone help me!)
I’m hoping that loading screen was just a temporary byproduct of the event being broken right now because, otherwise, it’s an obvious missed opportunity to create memorable moments for their players. Have the ‘Mad Whatshisface’ NPC give us a little parachute and launch us over there, and then let us use the chute to jump off and get down safely!

Yes and a lot of those other maps have bugs.

Were you NOT paying attention to WHAT was being launched by the cannon?
If you have yet to explore the area Somewhere someone in the area would like your assistance with a little training and then he’ll sell you something nifty in return
Spoiler alert…..the cannon itself is working just fine! Although, I’d have to agree, not actually getting to see my bf (arms and legs flailing) flying thru the air was a tad of a let down. Was still hilarious anyway though.
