This guy in spvp was moving around at 300% speed, he can do this under water and thus impossible to kill. Im pretty sure its not a mesmer down skill underwater that allows you to move at 300% speed.

I had to report him for either:
botting
inappropriate character name
spamming
verbal abuse
scamming
selling gold

Where is the report for someone using a hack?

well it seems like this guy also had a name hack cause his name changes to someone else’s when you try to report him in the report screen. It has been changing between a few names in the report screen. Sometimes the name is someone else’s name in the game sometimes its something else.

Reporting him is no good.

Its some guy playing on an asura mesmer named “sux to be you”

I agree that the reporting system needs to be more robust. Needs a hacking category at least, and a text field for specific explanations preferably.

I keep seeing teleport hackers hopping from node to node, but since it deselects them when they move out of range I’m not able to report them, as they appear and vanish in a matter of seconds.

Would be useful if once selected it didn’t deselect them automatically, and maybe a small text box to describe what they were doing, so a mod has some idea what they’re looking for.

I’ve seen other hacks.. people flying for instance.

They don’t (And have said it before) have any way of detecting cheating in this game, most of the info is done client side (Really not sure why they did that) They want you to take a picture in game and send it to them, but as of yet, of the 144 people I have sent emails for cheating, some flat out admiting they are doing it in the shots, none have been banned so far.

An hour ago I went into kegball to try and work on my achievements only to be met with two naked norn map hacking and speed hacking all over just knocking people that came in down, then when someone was added to there team the message for evening the teams out would come up and they would be sent to our side.

Map hacking / teleporting
Speed changes, 100-200-300-400-500%
no clip
and team modding
see hidden objects / players

Those are just the ones that are well known and shown all over youtube. It’s easy to see that nothing in this game will ever be taken seriously as an e-sport, they would have to rebuild the entire game.
