11) Because GW2 devs were smart enough to realize that competitive pvp content attracts kittens and kittens by the pile and didn’t want to encourage kitten behavior.

In WoW it only ever got used in PvP. And you can’t see any emotes from the opposing team in WvW anyway.

Why would there be one? Seriously, I can’t see a place for it but maybe I’m missing something.

You realize you can whisper your pvp opponents directly to insult them in this game. The other game prevented this using faction specific languages and had to rely on emotes.

But why can’t I /lick someone?

If you notice there are a lot of emotes that when you attempt using them nothing in chat will happen, indicating that they may make their way into the game. I’m not sure if /spit is one of them, but a lot of emotes do this and others just say “no such command” or something.

the last thing we need is Bunker builds spamming Spit on you 24/7 while he runs around unkillable and your trying to kill him with a friend…..

Yes you can, you can read the gray text still. I was waved at repeatedly before gang ganked while gathering POIs.

Because spamming /laugh is already enough, if you want something humiliating get the cow finisher

Enemies can’t see /me, but if you were to click on them and then type /spit @, they would see you spitting at them.

Either way it is a feature only some immature brat would want,

just type /e going back to WoW

OP I would suggest growing up a little then come back and try to enjoy your in game experience without the need for such infantile emoting.

I agree with the majority here. There is no need for a spit emote.

I would love to see a Spit Command in GW2, but not for the game itself … but for the forums. That way when you get trolled by one of those nut-job gazillion post spammers, you will have the proper emote response.

I prefer to see Anet reintroduce all the emotes that was not added since GW 1.

Frankly, I am still scratching my head, and wondering if I should be concerned that she knew this so well. Not that she knew it, but that she knew it instantly upon hearing it.
