Sorry if this is old news but I just found what seems to be a thief using a pistol and a war horn over at the Durmand Priory. It’s only a npc so it most likely doesn’t mean anything at all… *cough* thief’s getting warhorn *cough* hype *cough *seems a bit of a wired one *cough* whatever *cough*

Pretty sure it’s a thief cause its using Caltrops but why is it using a war horn?
Also the horn skill its using grants swiftness but does nothing else?

Sorry agin if someone already found this and its old news but if not then what to you all think?
It’s the thief getting a warhorn? Can the Revenant use pistol warhorn? Is pistol warhorn the worst idea for a weapon set ever? Have I uncover some hidden gem the devs have been waiting on use to find!?
No… no is most likely the answer to all of the above…

Well since he’s wearing light armor this is just another case of, “Look at what NPC’s can do but you can’t.” There are tons of examples of this happening, like some of the leaders at the Forts in the Silverwastes.

yeah didint even noitce the armor… guess we can call this one more of a hidden mess up than a hidden gem
oh well the dream of being able to use the worst weapon set ever well always haunt me

For the same reason Rytlock wears heavy armor and wields a sword and pistol. Reasons.

Any chance the NPC is a necromancer? What’s he doing?

It’s a hearing aid. He’s got really bad hearing from the war.

AND he has a Ranger pet!!! O.o

Confirmed: New ‘Light Armor, Pistol/Warhorn+bad AI’ Thief Specialization will be a /fail.
