Seriously just look at this rifle skin! It looks amazing and its pretty well detailed for a Bundle Weapon.
Just seems like a shame you cant get it as a permanent skin for your wardrobe.
For those wondering. Its the Temp Rifle you use for the Karka achievement in Lions Arch

I’m surprised they’d make a unique rifle skin just for that, I would have thought it’d make sense to use one that was already in the game. But I’ve looked all through the gallery of rifles on the Wiki and I can’t see it.

Unless maybe it was a possible design for one of the sets and got rejected, but some people liked it so they decided to use it elsewhere.

The most similar I think are the Krytan rifle and the Gallant rifle.

The wiki says (on the page of the NPC who provides it) that it’s not available to players.

There are other skins out there that are NPC-only and (I believe) a few that aren’t used by anyone… yet, which means they are potential NPC-only skins of the future.

I think I read that with armor skins, sometimes the NPCs are using the equivalent of outfits — it might look like individual pieces to us, but it’s a onesie of some sort. With weapons… I don’t really understand why ANet doesn’t make all the skins available to us, whehter from the gem shop or via currency or achievements. Seems like a cheap opportunity for new rewards.

The closest rifle to that is the Wheellock Rifle skin, obtained from Hall of Monuments achievements from Guild Wars 1.

Isnt that the ascended weapons pattern?

The pattern on it is similar, but the overall shape of the rifle is very different.
