Why the lack of boats, with so much water, why is there such a lack of boat gameplay?
boats would be cool

why no boats to, customize and do dynamic events,
why no boats to pvp and use in siege warfare
why no boats to give us goals at the end of the game
why no boats to hold guild meetings in
why no boats to float around leisurely in the uncommonly large amount of water
why no boats, to sing I am on a boat
why no boats

if you agree this is a legitimate questions just post “why no boats”?

boats in WvW would have been awesome no doubt…huge naval battles!!!

There isn’t really the space for huge naval battles. Swimming works fine, no need to implement boats.

Boat v boat pvp combat could be a hoot. Maybe even rival the popularity of the Keg Brawl!

Swimming is silly. It’s not logical to swim in a full set of armor. Boats on the other hand are cool. Imagine sailing out of the mists on your warship and storming the enemy beach with weapons gleaming in righteous fury!

So much water? Where? Straits of Devastation is the only map that comes to mind, and you can totally swim that. There isn’t much water in WvW at all.

While yes, it would be entertaining, I don’t think the current maps support it.

They might add something of the sort but lets first they implement mounts, then we can talk about boats and aircraft (;))
