Yay~ new commander colours~ Red~ Yellow~ Purple~ Default blue~ (like every other friggen GS in this game… I feel A-net likes blue to much despite the company colours being red and white)

But why no green? Surely this colour option matters little, but more customization is never a bad thing~

If there was green people would be asking why no Pink. Where does it end?

Very likely there is no green because the difficult in seeing it. The colors were undoubtably chosen to contrast against the map’s colors for ease of seeing them.

I personally prefer Black or White but I know these would be tough to see on some areas. But still, just for kicks, I like those two colors. Of course, more colors are great too (like how many colors they have for dyes)

The green color would simply be too “Toxic”.

Why can’t I use my unlocked dye colors on my tag? There, that’s how it should be!

Red – Nacho Cheeze
Yellow – Pizza
Purple – Purple Drank, because we need something to wash all those chips down.

Could be that one of the most common form of color blindness is the decreased ability to distinguish between red and green.

Also, most of the wvw maps have green terrain (especially EB). Having a green tag that is not very visible kinda defeats the purpose of having a tag….

Nice idea, but too many options can also be limiting. Keeping it simple is probably easier since the idea is for tactical use not for personal expression.

Ghost likely has it right. People with Green-Red colour blindness cannot easily distinguish between the two colours. The four colours chosen, as far as I know, do not suffer from this issue.

Even though I, personally, would like a Green Commander tag too.
