Why not add Siege Golem in The Silverwastes?
I suppose that could be viable, though buffing the enemies a bit would be needed to balance things out.
I think it would die a fast, painful death before it did anything. Golem are better at anti – defenses not anti-infantry.

What I think is when you active signal torch in different levels, it should be…
at Tower rank or defense level 1: call only airship
at Tower rank or defense level 2: call airship + drop NPC to help in the battle field (increase enemy difficulty)
at Tower rank or defense level 3: call airship + drop NPC to help in the battle field + drop more Siege and other weapons such as Flamethrower, Grenade. (increase more enemy difficulty)
