Why not randomize the dailies per player?
It would be interesting, although I think part of the reason it’s the same for everybody is so that the people doing the dailies will have a ready supply of players to join up with to complete them. At least, in PvE.
As for the PvP dailies, they could do other interesting things with it, like last night I noticed two of the sPvP dailies were “Guardian Winner” and “Necromancer Winner.” I imagine, then, there were more Guardians and Necros in PvP last night, which mixes up the game a bit from the usual.
Then again, sometimes it doesn’t work so well. Perhaps there is a balance that could be struck between the two?
That’s true, but you’d still get other people to join up with. I don’t know how many different “do 4 events in a zone” dailies there are, but let’s say there are 20 of them. You’d have about 1/20th of the people getting the quest in each zone. That’s still a lot of people.
You could also partially randomize it. So yeah today everyone is getting one of the do 4 events in a zone quests but it’s distributed among five of the zones. Still reduces the giant zerg blob that runs all over new players and increases the amount of activity throughout the world.
