Why so unhappy?
I’m not trying to start any arguments here whatsoever,
lol really now.
We are providing feedback. What are you doing?
Because people that are happy with the game is busy playing the game, the people that are mad come here in the forums to complain, and just a really selected few come here to congratulate / defend the updates.

Just generally asking a question. Why do some people have to be so unhappy?
I don’t know, it’s a matter of taste? Why do you like chocolate? Some people don’t, do you ask them why they don’t like it?

Please go read these forum threads and think about them instead of asking us to deliver you a summarised digested version of our discontent.
People had a part of their daily fun removed – and that’s a good enough reason to be unhappy.

Seems people cant split screen or have multiple monitors in your bizzarro world.
My main reason for being unhappy is the static boss times for epic bosses that specifically cater to prime time players and leave the rest of the community out in the cold…. there’s nothing in the water….

If it makes you feel better, there are far more people happy with the update than unhappy. If you frequent these forums you will quickly realize that people become unhappy at anything and everything. That’s how humans react in general. The forums are a place for people to express their opinions. Everyone knows that people with complaints will yell the loudest and post the most on forums. The happy ones will just play the game. The really happy ones will come on the forums to defend, but typically are outnumbered by the angry customers, because well, angry customers will congregate on forums to bond over mutual discontent about X feature. This is not exclusive to GW2.
The day you find an MMO’s forums with absolutely no negative posts is the day I eat my hat. If I were wearing one.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….

You are among the “selected few”, just that ;D
BTW, most don’t play and post at same time, actually no one does, you just top playing for a brief moment to use the forum.

I did teq and wurm daily with TTS…..now because of the new times I will be unable to do either anymore. Thanks Anet.
Because most people who are happy are playing the game and enjoying it, so a lot of the unhappy people come to the official forums to voice their complaints. It is like this on every game forum I have ever been a part of

Because I just saw a video of siege battle in Cyrodiil…actually looking like siege not a group hug at gates. And no fps issues either…
3 times the cost to change over your look from level 1 to 79 post patch.
3 times the cost to change over your look from level 1 to 79 post patch.
On the other hand, if you complete 6 city maps you can change the skin of a whole lvl 80 set.

Meanwhile the cost to change the look of your level 80 just got significantly cheaper.
More than a fair trade, I say. Especially since you aren’t level 1-79 forever.
I’m not really upset about anything except that dyes aren’t a drop but that doesn’t bother me too much. I knew a game that had a server integration and that meant that the playerbase dropped and the game was going downhill. Fortunately for Guild Wars I don’t believe that is exactly the case.
People don’t like change. Change is unpleasant. If you’re on Facebook, what’s your wall look like the day after they make a change? Everyone yells about how much they hate it and want the old FB back! And then in 3 months, we’ve all forgotten what it looked like before, they change it again, and everyone says “I want the old FB back this sucks!”
Sometimes these forums have really great, constructive suggestion posts. They tend to get drowned out by the threads of “omg you broke my favorite thing I quit 5EVA!”
