Been doing Tequatl for a while and why do Tequatl have a stash of spoons? People get spoons all the time. Why can’t we get something else. Like a fork or a knife?

Tequatl should drop a Hashi IMO,it suits him better.

He’s an undead dragon therefore I’m guessing his teeth aren’t great so he can’t properly crunch bones and armour and stuff. So he has to mush up his food and eat it with a spoon. That’s why he’s constantly trying to stomp you when fighting him.

Perhaps these were added because anet plans to add a legendary spoon. The Cereal Slayer. I have no idea.

Well, there is a german saying, “den Löffel abgeben” (“to hand the spoon”), which means “to pip out”. Now every time I get Tequatl’s spoon, I literally get the proof in my inventory that he pipped out (“Tequatl hat den Löffel abgegeben”).

That’s probably only funny for the german players, but hey, there are so many ingame jokes that only work in english and not in a translation, so it’s a tie

All dragons collect things. It’s part of dragon lore. Some collect gold and jewels. Others collect rare, magical items. Tequatl collects……. spoons.
