After 2 1/2 years Anet decides to change the chat text bubbles to an annoying green color.

It’s been confirmed that it’s harder to read and gives slight headaches.

Why change something that looked and worked perfectly fine?

Atleast give people a choice.

Think so as well, I don’t mind that. Hope this is just for saint patricks day…

Wouldn’t be too surprised if they reverted it to black with the next update.

I’d actually go with another question – why change what’s perfect (and everyone likes) already?

The green is hard to see for people with some colorblindness or vision impairment. It’s an accessibility issue.

Ascended Gear, the Trait System Redesign, and NPE say hello! Maybe the green text isn’t a bug. Maybe it’s an improvement. Maybe green text retains more new players and encourages new and old players alike to spend more money.

Actually, I think whoever said it was for Saint Patrick’s Day was probably right.
