Why the heavy look?

Why the heavy look?

One thing I have noticed with most new armor skins , is that they tend to favor heavy armor users when they make a “One size fits all”-type skin.

As a medium armor user I am always passing up the cool new stuff because it simply looks out of place with everything else I am wearing due to being very bulky like heavy armor.

So, I am hoping this thread can bring some attention to this. I know the Anet devs are not going to go back and re-do the old skins, but going forward please Anet, start making some light and medium variations.

I really don’t like the one size fits all thing either. Not only does it look out of place, but it also takes away the uniqueness of each armor type. You should be able to tell who is wearing heavy, medium or light armor. I would definitely like to see different skins for each armor type.

Probably the only thing done right is the monocle, because it’s a monocle.

“Please, you can look down on people without having to be physically above them.
As an asura, I do this all the time.”

Eventhough I mostly play heavy armor…..I do quite agree. The medium/light dragon helms should have been a different type of dragon and a material more related to the class of armor. Likewise for the new zepherite armors too.

I main a guardian, and I agree. I have the medium and light dragon helms sitting in my bank because they don’t really look good on other armor types. I haven’t previewed the achievement armor on anything but a heavy class, but I imagine it looks out of place. I really hope they stop doing the one and done skins. Is it incredibly difficult to create three types?
Same thing happened with the f/f gauntlets.
