Literally until this point Sylvari were the ONLY race that weren’t corrupted by the dragon. We’ve seen:

Risen Humans, Norn, Asura, Charr.

Branded Humans, Norns, Asura, Charr

Icebrood Humans, Norn, Asura, Charr

Now one race may be susceptible to the influence of a dragon that controls pretty much exactly what they are (ie, plant life) and the community has all these nasty conspiracy theories about open PK and exclusion of sylvari and segregation.

I just can’t even.

It’s obvious.

Humans, Norn, Charr and Asura CAN be corrupted and turned into dragon minions.

Sylvari are fundamentally dragon minions from the start.

Because it seems this community cannot be trusted with some actual decent story telling, and will use any excuse to turn into a bunch a jerks. Its just silly. We’re all in this together as players. Taking story and turning it against players is stupid.

Honestly I find it funny. We are talking about fantasy characters and races and a (imo) interesting story plot. The jokes from most topics have been HILARIOUS!

Also what Metal Paradox said. Sylvari ARE dragon minions but some can resist the corruption.

People shout that about every ethnicity or religious group. Thats just ignorance.

I would indeed assume so, yes.

It’s because I absolutely hate Quaggans, my main is a Sylvari, and everyone at ArenaNet is a Quaggan sympathizer (along with far too many in the player base). I openly hate on Quaggans so ArenaNet said “Screw you Zera, all Sylvari will now be hated because of your sacrilege.” :P

I’m Asura … i hate all other races … so what? xD

The stories they tell can be about controversial topics. ANET story telling is actual better suited for a mature audience.

As a human/norn player, my characters will stand up and fight alongside Canach and other Sylvari who actively try to defy their heritage as alleged ‘dragon minions’ at birth.

One thing is what you may be born as, another is fighting that background if you want to serve good, that’s a worthy cause that will get my support!

I’m a Charr, we’ve killed our own gods… SO I’ll stand beside any Sylvari thats feels like doing the same to that Elder flying cabbage.

Sylvari helped us defeating Zaithan and stood beside us in every single battle…. they hmm “bled” with us.

Just made my first ever Sylvari character at the weekend. Perfect.

Actually, if you count the Nightmare Court as Dragon Corrupted.
Then all races have been corrupted by a dragon…

I see Faolin fighting other races in the final video, which I assume they’re A: joined the dragon, B: corrupted by Mordi
