from what i’ve seen so far, loot from boss chest in open world encounters (ie. temple bosses in orr, etc.) is just as worthless as ever.

I thought this was the patch that was going to bring people out of fractals. why is it that i can consistently get rares, cores, lodestones, and the occasional exotic running fractals, but never in open world play?

i guess running world events become too easy that it essentially became a loot timer. These event will continue to get nerfed to the point that wp cost almost as much as the reward

the difficult temple bosses still get semi decent loot

They haven’t fixed the loot stealth nerf aka bugged DR. They haven’t made vets and champs guaranteed to drop loot as they announced they had (screenshot proof in another thread).

We are expected to get used to this current terrible drop rate until we stop complaining about it.

The problem is, it has disinclined me and many others into not bothering to fight vets or champs anymore. Jormag is a trap. The more work an enemy takes to kill, the less rewarding it will be.

The lesson I have learned is to kill what is easy and run away from everything else in the game, even if it boxes you into a repetitive playstyle. Most people would have quit by now but I’m a hanger-on. A hanger-on who has a lot less fun than he used to have.
