If you look up superior sigils/runes there is a huge amount of completely pointless ones. There is a lot of fun potential with some of these sigils but I feel like we can only stick to the select few because everything else is essentially junk.
-One for example is sigil of demon summoning. Why does it only summon a pathetic (though it looks cool) demon for only 1 minute after 25 kills… I mean i would love to have a sigil that summons a demon (similar to rune of ogre) that would be SWEET. But at this point it maybe summons one for 1 minute 1 time per map, if you’re lucky. Cant really be compared to getting +10 power or precision a kill now can it. Just wondering if anyone knows if anet is planning on balancing the horrid sigils/runes? Or what you sigil/runes you think should be changed and how?

I want them to change back Turrets to perma summons and actually FIX the skill button rather than setting turrets as temporary as a workaround. But that doesn’t mean I’ll get it :P

Plenty of sigils are just waiting for you to find a use for them. Having an open pool of sigils leaves room for experimentation so people can find new ways to play the game.

I agree there are lots of sigils for effects on swap and all sorts of heals that are really fun to mess around with. Its just sadly I feel that many of them are underwhelming.

Well if you note that some are easy or cheap to acquire, it’s a great option for people who are new to the game or otherwise low on cash. That way people can enhance their characters weapons without spending lots of gold on every weapon.

Or if they just want to enhance their non-80 characters without spending too much on lower level gear.

I recently stopped throwing rare sigils/runes into the Mystic Toilet cuz everytime I get an exotic one I can’t sell it on the TP because the price is lower than the NPC Merchant. =/

The Rock Dog was pretty popular for a while, wasn’kitten The one from runes?
So in theory the summons can be useful, just may need some minor number tweaking.

Though honestly, the issue with sigils is simply that dodge is so strong, in turn using up sigil slots for almost-mandatory energy sigils.

The strength of heart to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.

There is not optimal, and there is terrible.

Sigil of Blood, or Intelligence is not optimal, but perfectly usable for a low budget alt.

Sigil of Celerity is terrible.

Superior Rune of the Ogre is around 1g.
The thing you are referring to is probably the ones that can be summoned by the ogre pet whistle.

And AI fixing… Only reason rock dog is decent is because its first attack is a cripple.
After that it just muddles around you doing nothing useful other than a meat shield occasionally.

These were always meant to be inferior to the profession skills so that is working as intended.
