Will Ascended Amulets be infusable?
Save yourself grief and regardless of the response or lack of response, don’t put an valuable infusion in the amulet any time soon.
Why not put the infusion in a ring?
We get millions of rings from Fractals anyways…
have dozens of extras laying around begging to be infused with something
You do know that when you infuse an amulet you lose the infusion anyway. So really it is a moot point right now since you will lose whatever infusion you put on there anyway.
If you are worried about it put it in the rings.
I think the OP is talking about the expensive utility infusions which he/she cannot place on anything other than an amulet at this time.
If its any consolation, I tossed a normal versatile infusion on my amulet until ArenaNet says something on the matter. I’m with you though, 30+ laurels saved up, I suppose its about time for another amulet for an alt.

rozcinana has the idea right. I want the Magic Find utility infusion, but I’m not about to throw 20 laurels after an infusion which I don’t know whether or not is permanent. So far I’ve just thrown a simple infusion in it as well. All I want is to know whether or not I should save my laurels for an infused version of the amulet. Only hint I found is that they exist in gw2db.
I only upgrade my amulet with a versatile infusion since it only cost 75 relics. Until i get an official response that the amulets are/aren’t infuseable I wont upgrade it with an utility infusion
This has been consistently brought up on the forums since the release of amulets and we still have no response from the developers.
The best we know is that GW2DB has the (infused) amulets and earrings listed up, so they exist within the game data. I for one won’t use my fine infusion until we get some kind of confirmation, one way or other.
