The entire lore behind Cantha is truly amazing, but will Players ever see Cantha? As far as I’m concerned, the continent Cantha should be within the game, sure there are NPC’s around the world that could tell you a little about The continent, but nothing to blow your mind. There is plenty of story and places in Cantha, from Shing Jea Monastary to Kaineng City. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to see Cantha implemented into the game.

Cantha WILL NOT be in GW2. Sorry peeps, the Emperor has closed off Cantha when the Dragons rose and Orr was brought back up from the depths. It is part of the lore of GW2. Also, the Tengu left Cantha because of that.

Maybe Cantha would be in GW3.

That’s not the only reason people haven’t been going to Cantha. For more than a hundred year, a certain dragon had an undead corsair army blocking every sea route.

And somewhere in the middle of the ocean, there’s another ED.

They have built the lore. Also – there are hints all over DR as to why there will be no Cantha in GW2. Find those and you will understand.

Yes they built the lore and they changed it many times, the person who had the issue with Cantha is gone.. with GW2 over in China is seems silly not to have Cantha eventually added. They made the lore and they have shown before they’ll change it at will.

The only time I seen that happening is when the Asians don’t get their panties in a knot over the aesthetics style for Cantha. (No offences to them.)

I mean the reason why we didn’t get a Canthan district like the Elonian did in Divinty Reach is that they were offended (where the pavillion is) with the mix Chinese and Korean style for it.

Ok granted the game is now release in China so they may mellow out abit or maybe they should work with some people in China to making new Cantha style that wouldn’t offend them so we have the best of both worlds.
