Just curious whether Dragon Bash might be a recurring holiday, or whether it’s a one-off event? Those Shattered-wings looks sweet, and I’d be all over trying to score them in the coming year
Will Dragon Bash return next year?
I think Dragon Bash could come back next year. ANet has been giving that feeling within interviews that this year’s celebrations were being set up for use next year.
I don’t know if they’ll have the wings or something newer, but here’s hoping all the same.

Anet is essentially building a collection of events that will occur every year. Such as Wintersday Halloween, Queen’s Jubilee and Dragon Bash. This way they can reuse 90% of the props and add more to it at the same time. A very good thing as long as they do the “add to it” part.
Generally speaking, ‘festivals’ that coincide with holidays tend to recur. Dragon Bash is the successor to Dragon Festival, which is (in a sense) our 4th of July celebration. So yes, along with Halloween, and Wintersday, it should recur each year (as per GW1 tradition)
Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.
I`m a returning player , my biggest issue with the living story is that players that don`t have the opportunity to log in regularly miss out on events that will not be available later on in the game . I would love to see dragon bash return as I wasn`t able to participate in that event . In fact it would be great to see expansions on any of the first living story updates that many players may have missed out on .
