Every time i see someone ask about how what class is “best” and see similar responses from different people i can’t hep but wonder if that even matters- Shouldn’t we be more focused on the gameplay elements we truly love and not what looks best number wise?

I digress- there are some things rifle warrior Cough.. That are just so bad that even though i may love their concept or even game-play style to death- the numbers are just SO INCREDIBLY disappointing that seeing one used is about as rare as finding 20 bucks in the street.

But i ask you, Guild Wars 2 community- do you faith that H.O.T. will breathe new life into some of these mechanics? Balance and rework every element of what we already have? And change the way we look at certain weapon/class combos?

Perhaps they know things need balancing but have held out- saving it for the expansion.

Heck, I wouldn’t be shocked.

It is said that some changes will blend into the vanilla classes’ specialization.
An example of this is the new conditions.
Secondly changes like the stability changes will work with vanilla too.
All changes are not finale though keep this in mind.

While re-balancing is something to be expected, at the same time, Anet has done things differently before, so that leaves me a bit of concerned that there might not be an overall major re-balance that suddenly causes a huge amount (4+) builds to suddenly pop-up. At the current moment, it’s just too early to say what will happen as far as balance is concerned.

Agreed. But, if our experience with various expansion from other MMOs is any indication, expect some changes in the future. That’s just kind of a given, I think.
