Guild Wars 2

Right now, after pre ordering the Heart of Thorns downloadable content, a new slots has appeared in my list of characters labeled “Beta.” If I make a character within that slot during this time, I’m guessing I’ll lose both the character and the slot later, as I did not buy GW2 itself until May 24. Is this true?

This slot is actually a completely separate account. Anything you do in that slot has no effect on the rest of your chars/banks/etc…

So yeah you’ll lose it but you cannot really use that slot for anything else than temporary tests.
