So we know legendaries will always be best in slot which is great. But what happens if you skin it now?

Seems like you’ll have no trouble reskinning it onto an ascended-quality weapon.

If you transmute it, you are likely out of luck, because its not a legendary anymore after it.

That’s true, I could just skin the ascended weapon. Makes sense. Thanks.
Also I know they are working on amazing those who skinned right now to have it back to legendary instead of exotic. So all good.

I know this is really late but I just started playing the game. Where did ANET say that the legendary weapons will always be the best in slot?
