Will guildwars2.com be updated?
You want them to update the website or you want them to fix in game bugs that needs attention at the moment?
I’m sure there are more important things to do first.

I would think in a company that size, that they would have different people to do the bug fixing vs updating the customer facing website. In which case, there isn’t much of a reason why it couldn’t be done. Although, sometimes getting designs, graphics, etc finalized can take some time. I would have thought that would have actually all been done prior to launch, but you never know.

Do not think people that work with website same people that work on GW2 game program.

Indeed, there are seperate divisions within Anet that handle these things. Just because bug/dev team is doing fixes, does not mean web designers and arts team cant do what they normaly do. I see alot of times people think all members of a company arejust interchangeable. The fact is they are not. There might be a few that can be roaming between places, but not all web developers are game coders or artisit, and vice versa.

Exactly. Not sure why so many people don’t grasp this, it’s not like its unusual in any company structure, except maybe very small ones. The company I work for just crested 300-ish people. Like 20 of them are upper management (hold a ‘VP’ title of something), another dozen are directors of assorted fields, and then I have no idea how many project leads we have. Under all that, you have varying levels of ‘grunts’ with a multitude of skill sets: some doing java, some doing .Net, some strictly front end / javascript, a few all out database people, some php, even got a a couple of android devs floating around here somewhere. Out of so many of us, only a few are actually jacks of all trades.

That WOULD explain all the bugs, though :P
