Guild Wars 2

Reading a few of the threads around here got me thinking a bit. In GW1 to fight the Mursaat you must have had your armor infused to be able to stand their Spectral Agony. Now we’ve been given the information that ascended weapons and armor are going to make their way into the game at some point.

Could this potentially bring either A) Mursaat to the game with an emphasis on ascended / infused armor & weapons?
or Everything I just mentioned in A as a sort of “end game” content people have been asking for?

Am I reading too much into this or do you guys think this is possible / plausible?

I doubt it but any introduction of gw1 story elements would be a huge improvement to the existing story.

Agreed. I know they said that Mursaat would eventually be back to GW2 (citation needed, and hopefully someone can find what I’m referring to) but they never said when or how. I’m just thinking this would be an appropriate tie-in to ascended weapons and armor by introducing something that needs ascended gear to defeat.

Maybe just wishful thinking on my part.
