Q:
Will my solo guild disappear if I leave?
A:
just hit the rep button for the other guild. You’ll start repping them yet not have to worry about accidently kicking yourself out.
May I suggest though you get a f2p account and make it co-guild leader with the ability to invite and promote others? That way you’ll never have to worry about accidently leaving your guild. If you do leave, it can invite you back and make you a guild leader again. Just make sure you have SMS so hacking fears are minimal.
ANet may give it to you.
You can stand down from it as often as you like just don’t leave the guild and it’ll be there.
if you represent another guild your guild and upgrades will remain and you cna use them, once you represent it again (you can be in 5 different guilds).
Only if you leave the guild, you wont have access anymore because nobody would be able to reinvite you to the guild.

If you LEAVE the guild then yes its gone forever and anything in it (unless you create an alt account and invite that account to the guild, so there’s more than just you in it).
If you Stand Down you simply stop repping it, and you can rep it any time want.
I make a point of only ever hitting “Represent” to switch guilds, just to be safe.
There is absolutely no evidence to support that it would.” -AnthonyOrdon
If you want a safety net, make a second f2p account, and give that account admin privileges. That way, even if you accidentally leave the guild it’ll still be reserved by the other account.
But either way, you can have five guild on one account, and your characters can even be set to be repping different guilds. Lots of people have personal storage guilds they only rep when they need to use said storage.
Thanks for all your help, I can rest easy now!
