Guild Wars 2

Hi. Silverwastes or Dry Top are about 1/4 of an averange Guild Wars 2 map. Will the new maps have the size of a normal map ? Usually, when LS is put on pause we get a new map.

Their pace maximum seems to be one new mini-map each 6 months. So we get like a new normal map each 2 years.

Most maps in gw2 are plain. In Dry top, you could go upper and lower. Hope the next maps will be bigger.

I really like the new ones but I wish that we’d see things like a new Mordrem dungeon :/

Also, a new world boss would be nice.

I did some reading up on GW1. Bloodstone Fen is within the Silverwastes (which was once known as Silverwood). Seems like a nice place to make into a dungeon.

The trend in many mmos is to make smaller new maps. I guess thats to reduce lead time and also to make them more focussed.

I hope to see more big explorables though. My suspicion is maguuma will open up a lot in the new year as we take the fight to the dragon.

I’m quite happy with the amount of stuff that’s happening in Drytop and now Silverwastes. Can’t say that for most of the other maps so far.
