I want to try to spend some time with my family, and am curious if the Anet plans on bringing the servers down so that we can enjoy some time off with relatives, friends and other loved ones?

it’s not a matter of self control, its a matter of falling behind in daily achievements and other areas of the game because those of us with families want to spend some time offline

I cant imagine this being a serious post so I’ll reply with this advice, Hanukwansmas only comes around once a year so spend that time with your family not on the game .

If you can’t stop playing of your own volition for a single day, you’ve got a serious issue. If you miss out on a daily… so what? There is nothing in GW2 that -requires- you to play every day. NOTHING.

Well the daily takes 30 minutes tops , Also achievements mean nothing as you get no rewards for completing them . But you made me laugh … ho ho ho

The only one forcing you to play the game is you. You don’t need outside assistance to fix that.

Can’t believe im gonna respond to this……..but TC what about all the single people out there that dont have family to spend time with? or the couples with no kids, that just want to spend christmas in there fav. game? wth would anet close the servers down LOL, also you can’t fall behind on daily’s lol, just do the next days.

The servers won’t be down for Xmas. Can you imagine how the few people playing over the holidays will QQ?
Also Anet is known for never bringing servers down.
