We’re still recovering from our turkey comas.
New promos are in, but they are just new daily ones they have been doing all week as opposed to being specific black friday ones. I suspect these daily promos count for their holiday sales.
With all the Black Friday hype and sales everywhere else (including other games), the gemstore here has been a disappointment. I expected big things. Guess I know better now.
Yeah, sales resistance at an all time low, and A-net offers nothing. Disappointing.
I suspect they’re doing the same thing they usually do for sales where they’ll have a mix of returning items, new items/bundles and discounted stuff spread over several days, rather than dumping everything on there at once.

I think you’d be better off expecting a special sale on Cyber Monday. Online shops like Newegg and Steam tend to have bigger sales on that day than on Black Friday.
Black Friday is actually more of a retail shopping day than an online shopping day. Check back Monday and I’ll bet there’s at least a little something special going on then. However, don’t expect a blowout sale like we had with the anniversary sale a few months back. Anet tends to schedule their gem store sales around in-game or special events related to the game itself rather than a national holiday.
The game advertises ‘Black Friday Deals’ in the information/tips on loading screens. It advises one check the Daily Deals.
Thus, we are experiencing the Black Friday offerings this week.
