Will there ever be an official ArenaNet convention?
……………
Hello <LoveTheName>Sonicwhip,</LoveTheName>
I vote Yes Please for an ArenaNet con. I will say that as much as I like this idea, I don’t imagine that the community is going to be supportive. I can hear it now… Don’t spend money on a con, fix your broken game instead!!! Rage Rage Rage. Just to be clear, GW2 is not broken.
Cheers!
Sounds like a “fanfest” to me, i’d love for that to happen, then I could find the tool who decided “Lets cover the ground in red circle’s on every boss fight cause thats fun!” and punch him in the face for being a tool
It’s a good idea, best to give it a couple years before you plan that out tho.

That’s, just like your opinion man
It would be cool if they did, but as others have said, it’s not likely with the current “fanbase” (I use that term lightly)

Thanks lol. used this name when I played my first mmo many years ago.
It would be cool but hosting a convention costs tons of money and time. So for me its not so much of “QQ broken content QQ” but more of “You could use your time and resources more wisely.”
I’d love to know where to take my torch and pitchfork as well.
While it’s an interesting idea, I’m really not sure ArenaNet is big enough to warrant this kind of thing. Conventions are expensive to hold and they don’t quite have Blizzard’s roughly billion-dollar annual turnover…
