Could we get something from Anet about a graphics option that allows players to turn auras back on. Please?!?

There has been an awful lot of conversation invested in exactly this topic in the Visual Nerfs thread but maybe you’re right to start a new thread. It might be easier for anet to comment on it if we start afresh. Colin did apparently say that the visuals would be restored (in april?) and some options provided for adjusting them. But with him gone, it’s not yet been confirmed if his promises will be upheld. We live in hope.

They did say on the AMA i think(maybe it wasn’t the ama), yes with a toggle or something.

No set time frame, when it’s ready, on the table.

I just hope Colin’s promise of “no higher gear than ascended” is upheld.

Raiders always needs better gear then the normal folks .. i think ANet will also
see that its now essential ro make new gear tiers that can only be earned in raids.

My hope is, they start with legendary armor, after that all new legendary weapons
are also raid-only with better stats.

Oh .. and to be honest .. i’m not even shure that i’m sarcastic here.

Raiders don’t need better gear at all.

I’m not sure how auras have to do with gear tiers.

Personally, I agree that a slider or check box would be the ideal option. Let players decide how much clutter they want. Although, recently playing ele in pvp, I can understand why they did it. There are a lot of auras flying around.
