After reading more then 30/40 pages for cantha thread, 10000% of each post want cantha back, but does anyone knows or realize about this information?

Please focus only in what your really think about: if Anet can or just cant do Cantha back even in 2018?

Honestly, I really want it back, even if i have to pay what they ask for, but i guess we dont have cantha anytime soon, i think we have new explorables zones or who knows new continent instead.

I am pretty sure 10000% of the posts are not in favor of Cantha. I, personally, would prefer the Crystal Desert.

As for whether ArenaNet ‘can’ do Cantha, I am sure they ‘can’. Whether they want to, or will is something only they know, or will know in the future.

And….you could have easily posted this in the existing Cantha thread. Which is where it will probably end up. =)

Maybe not 10000% but lets say 90% of post love cantha or elona, I personal ask for cantha cuz i love it.

I wish we had a light in the tunnel soon

They’re more likely to go North Shiverpeaks or Crystal Desert next for an expansion, simply because we already have them on the current map.

I’d say Desert is most likely because “dat dragonbrand terminus”. I’m of the belief ol’ Kraiky is roosting there.

Before they add Cantha, they should make first Tyria 100% explorable.

• the whole Crystal Desert missing
• the whole Maguuma Djungle missing
• the whole Fire Ring Islands missing
• all of the old EotN territories missing:
  • Tarnished Coast
  • North Shiverpeaks
  • Charr Homelands
  • Deldrimor Area
  • Isle of Janthir

• The whole Area around the Dominion of the Winds/Sea of Sorrows/Tengu Hometown Sanctum Cay

Anet has more than enough to do before we need new Continents.
GW2 has to be seen like a long term project.
The game is currently only 1,5 years old around. Adding new explorable Maps takes time, especially whole new Continents.
So its alot easier to fill first the gaps of the Continent, that we have, than to move on to a new continent what is kind of Content for an Add On that we might see mostly like 2015, but not I guess for Cantha.
I rather believe for the next personal story part and Living Story Season 2 I guess will be the preparation for that meanwhile, while givign us some new explorable maps in the Maguuma Djungle.

More likely Maguuma expansion than either of those now. Kinda weird if Anet’s going to tacitly admit Mordremoth is one of the Elder Dragons, and happens to have just been awoken by a salad with a case of nuts larger than a giant squirrel, and suddenly do a 180 on the next LS season.

I want Cantha and Elona, so badly, but only after they have finished the current map. I just want them someday. Ah, those places would be so beautiful… Right now I’m looking forward to the presumed new Maguuma maps though

I don’t think cantha is possible anymore since they agreed to sync the game between US/EU and China. It would be highly illegal to bring cantha to China so I doubt they will waste development time on something that only a small part of their customer base would ever get.

Easy, the chinese release of guild wars 2 would simply never have that content brought to them. A single, and relatively brand new, region is not a good reason to completely scrap a good portion of potential content releases. Besides, it would not be the first time a game has introduced content that was either exclusive to one region or excluded FROM one region.

Tbh, I don’t think there will be enough people playing it in 2018 for them to even consider releasing it. And I’m not being overly pessimistic here.

I agree that we must first complete the unexplored areas before jumping to another continent, but do you think will see Cantha in GW2 or just stay in the memory?

It honestly looks like it depends on how the LS goes. We went to Orr to kill one elder dragon, and regularly fight against the champions of 2 other elder dragons. And now a 4th elder dragon is waking up. How have we not gone up into the northern shiverpeaks and killed jormag, or down in the crystal desert and finished off kralkatorrik (for christ sake a group of 6 people nearly took the kitten down once)?
