As someone who has played since the first beta weekend…I’m so tired of seeing the Mad King stuff being reused every single year… It’s so boring by now. There’s nothing special about it anymore. And while wintersday is more rewarding at the moment compared to halloween, the activities you can do are also constantly recycled.

I know Anet clearly moved away from those limited-time activities (remember when Tixx/Toxx visited each of the race capitals, giving out rewards?), but at least something new rather than another holiday item collection would be nice..

Like, move the celebration to another city, change up the dynamic. The Grove hosting Halloween, Rata Sum hosting Wintersday, new activity games, new “lore”… Wouldnt that be fun?

It’s not been every single year, but new content is always welcome. Though, if it’s a choice between new Halloween content, and a new map for Episode 3, I’ll choose the new (permanent) map.

It’s possible something different will be added this year; there was also Dev comments, last year, that the Mad Memoires quest line would return (didn’t make it in time last year, so maybe this year).

The festivals don’t need to change or even be added to every year if they have enough fun stuff to do already. I agree with you though that the limited time content for Halloween in GW2 is pretty awful.

All they need to do is bring back Reaper’s Rumble and promote Costume Brawl more, not by providing people with more tonics, but by giving people reasons to do things with their tonics.
