Alright let me preface this post with this:
Yes i searched this before posting, spent alot of time reading alot of trolling and locked threads that do not answer my question but did hurt my brain.
I DO NOT want this thread to degenerate into the same threads as the ones i just read so please keep reponses relevent to the question below, and not get off onto tangents such as why or why not there should be a full set of gear available.
So onto the question, are we going to get ascended gear for all playstyles/stat combo’s?
Has there been an official response to this question already? and if so i missed it in my search so please link it.
It’s already well known there have been multiple dev/marketing statements that this game will support all playstyle’s, thats not disputeable its fact. This would indicate that we will indeed see a full range of ascended gear at some point, however the lack of comments from devs about this ascended gear for all subject has me a little worried that we will not.
Im asking because im about to get my first character to level 80 probably this weekend ankittenrying to figure out my top tier gear/build so i know what i should be working towards, and how exactly i want to spend my last few trait points.
If this(what is in game now) is all we are going to have as far as stat combo’s ill work with that but im going to be some kitten if i do that and then a few months from now they release the full range of gear with the stats i really want, in which case it would be good to know that now so i can just run other gear untill the time that the specific gear i want becomes available. I would hate to spend a month or two saving up the laurels to blow them on gear i dont really want if the gear i do want is in the works.
So bottom line, as title states, will there be ascended gear for all or only the builds that they want us to play?
