There’s a lot of commotion going on about the lich outfit removing charr tails. So what I’d like to know is: is there even a chance that Anet will ever go back and add the tail in response to player feedback? If I’m not mistaken, isn’t that what happened to the flamekissed light armor set (as in, Anet altered the appearance of the armor after tons of player feedback about it)?

For something that seems like an oversight, I would hope that Anet takes note of the reactions they’re getting about tail-less charr and simply put the tail back on the model. If they were willing to completely redesign the flamekissed armor for the fans, then this should be no problem, right? We’re not asking for a redesign, just our charr tails, please.

I refuse to buy it till the tail is added. And added with a spade at the end.

From the looks it is supposed to be a faun. Or possibly Pan, either way it is a goat tail, not a devils tail. Char tails then should be hidden in my opinion.

For me, charr’s tails are a part of your personnality, a quick look at them and you can know if they’re male or female. Looking at their face don’t always works as T3 cultural covers their whole head and it’s a pretty popular skin. This is THE reason why i hate CoF armor on charr, it changes your fluffy tail into a fiery lion tail undependent of your gender.

Anyway, about the OP, I totally agree, my fluffy tail is a part of my personnality so i’m not going to buy this outfit if removing our tail was the intended design

The only reason I would buy the cooks outfit is because of charr, would not use it on any other species in game. Only like other armous on select characters and absolutely hate then on others. You don’t need to like or want everything.

Well, to me it seems more bovine, like a bull or minotaur—or in this case a minocharr! Therefore, a regular charr tail would look just fine. Either way, charr just look awkward without their expressive tails.

Again, I don’t think we need any kind of cheesy-looking devil tail or anything like that. Just adding default charr tails back would make a world of difference for me. Heck, most of the other outfits use their normal tails and it looks great.

I very much agree with Dehuang in that a charr’s tail is a large part of their personality (like asuran ears, I suppose), and eliminating it entirely hurts the design as a whole, so I’m still holding on to the hope that we’ll see charr tails added soon due to how much player feedback it’s been getting since release.

Just in case you guys haven’t seen, have a red post saying they’re working on it.
