I was sooooooooo excited to see we are going to be getting Daydreamer wings!

Until, I went to preview them. On the pictures below,, there’s my dilemma. I seriously doubt they will be able to be re-dyed…

Or… is there a possibility that this bad piece could be dyed to match?

The 2nd one looks great but… the first… not so much.

Doubtful, as other back-pieces can not be dyed.

I really doubt we’ll be able to dye that back item.
They can release a few versions with different colors, but as different skins.

Not being able to dye it is my biggest concern with this back piece as well. Obviously if we can’t dye it, it’s not going to match whatever we dyed the outfit, unless we left the outfit its default colors.

I hope they eventually make some of the back pieces have dye channels.

Disclaimer: I have no source or proof on this so dont bother asking

When speaking to an ANet employee they mentioned this had to do with how weapons and backpieces are modeled and rendered and make them much much more difficult to be able to do dye channels on and its a per item basis so it would increase creation time for each new weapon/backpeice individually to add this.

So I would say it is unlikely to ever happen.

You mean wings aren’t supposed to be centered in the small of your back?!

I wouldn’t buy it even if it were dyeable, it’s clipping with back weapons. That’s the reason why I don’t wear back items except for those semi-transparent wings. XD

Most backpacks are way too low on asura…just as twilight/dawn/eternity are excessively high on norn females. They do need to check vertical placement of stuff better.

Ah, sorry xD, really ddin’t noticed your sarcasm. But yeah, thats my problem with it, I really dislike the centered orientantion of the wings :\ (Strange that I didn’t repaired on it before, maybe because I use fractal capacitator mostly).

Even if they made the golden outlining dye-able, then I would be happy, but… I sadly agree, I doubt they’ll allow that
