Winter wonderland (JP) done 2660 times.
hey i mean.. whatever you enjoy doing!
Well it -did- get me 2000 gold, got most of my legendary
That was my main goal to begin with, oh and i made full ascended armor
if that’s what you care about cool!
yeah i enjoy it just a shame there’s so few rooms so, you are constantly kicked at the start because the rooms are “Full”
kitten I got bored after finishing it the first time.
How do you do this?!
I mean if it would include some kind of rng or some random factor ok but it’s the same thing over and over again
The boundaries of no-life are pushed to new horizons every month, event after event. It’s hard to say something good or bad about this, because soon will come another player and break this no-life record, and another player after that, and so on.
If there is one thing we can not control or predict, is the craziness of human mind.
If you enjoy that much this event… go on and have fun, be all you can be. Don’t let anyone stop you from getting your virtual item, useful only for a few characters.
Are you a bot?
get it straight.
The only enjoyment this person has is the rewards, everything about the rewards.
Nothing about the gameplay, all about the rewards.
All about making money, nothing about gameplay
Rewards is all we want, no gameplay
Mail us stuff, don’t add new content
We want rewards for this is what we play for, screw gameplay.
REWARDSSSSS.

Let’s say a jp run takes 2 min. You did it 2445 times. That’s 81 and a half hours only doing the jumping puzzle and this doesn’t even include the waiting time.
Are you serious?
That’s about 80 hours… or 4 hours a day, every day.
If I had to choose between 80 hours of Winter Wonderland JP and a ruptured appendix, I really couldn’t say what’d be the lesser evil.
Gz though, I’ve “only” completed it 120 times up until now.

There is nothing more to say …
Fight the queens
Jumping Puzzles have always been a thing i enjoy doing in GW2, now that this JP proved quite profitable in gold, i started gathering my ascended armor and worked on my Legendary, i indeed do it for the rewards, no life perhaps, but what do without friends nearby at the moment and recently fired from work because they had to loose people, can aswell invest my time trying to get an legendary by farming gold right now mm?
Sure there’s more to do then this but eh, whatever floats one’s boat?
is this much? can i count myself addicted to this puzzle yet?
I’ve never tried once, lol
That’s about 80 hours… or 4 hours a day, every day.
Once you’ve done it several times, it’s effortless. Watch or listen to something else while doing it. Personally, I manage 16 runs per match, running it daily for the duration of an episode or movie. Moving up to 80 hours would be like fully watching one of the longer running shows.
Doesn’t show HOW he did it, could have used hacks.
Bots run it all day every day every ~1.2 minutes and likely in private instances because they never quit. That’s over 100x more than this.
Well it -did- get me 2000 gold, got most of my legendary
So at your rate, how much would one have to run it to get, say, about 900 gold?

I have gotten 800 gold in 3-4 days. doing it, 9-10 hours a day, that is.

lol yeah I know, I manage around 14-16 runs per match as well, that’s how I got to 120 (or 135 as of today).
Doing this for 80 hours would still be too monotonous and stupefying for me.
I’d rather go to work for 80 hours overtime, that’s far more interesting and would net me about 32.000 gold instead.
I spent the entire day yesterday to get my three completions.
I would rather have a root canal.

I needed hours before i could finally finish the puzzle a few times, it goes better over time :P

I dont fault you guys, thats how you enjoy playing. The messed up thing is that the item design guys balance item aquisition around the way you guys play. 10,000 drinks is driven by accounting for the way you guys play.
Succeeded once, didn’t go back. I’d rather jump out of a 20 story window whilst being poisoned and shooting myself in the head on the way down just to make sure.
But if someone likes it, good for them.

Haha :P what do you enjoy doing for gold?
Enjoy doing for gold ? Nothing, i don’t ‘farm’ gold. People throw it at me voluntarily cause i’m so nice and helpful.^^
I’m serious. Really.
Well, easy moneys

Judge much?
@OP good for you and congrats! I’m always surprised how far people will go to belittle someone else’s work doing something they enjoy for no apparent reason. When we go play Baseball, Basketball, Hockey we don’t get told they are "no-life efforts and the final score isn’t considered a “virtual” item just because it isn’t tangible.
While I don’t share your enthusiasm for the JP i can see your efforts have brought you happiness and even some coin to put towards other goals. Because that’s what a MMORPG is all about to me, setting goals and reaching them

Let’s make things clear: this is an online game (or product) with a specific target. This is not an official sport or e-sport. You can not earn money from doing jumping puzzles, but you can earn money from baseball. I think your goals should be changed (my opinion), otherwise you will reach nothing but making a product more profitable for someone else, on the expense of your personal life time.

Oh, but i am fully written in for work and for studies, ever since i lost my job a few weeks back since they had to loose people, i don’t have much to spend my time in, so right now, as i await an answer from school / work, i am free to do anything, so why not try get what i want now, so i don’t have to do such later when i am working daily again?
Wow I gave up after 3 attempts and thought kitten this…
I’ve done it 66 times this year, but I really like the puzzle. Yes, I’d say you’re addicted. lol

Thanks for the info. And congrats.
I can do the puzzle abt 10 avg 14 max per session myself and have done it 303 times total.
you may as well just spend real money. I mean 1 hour of work in america at minimum wage is averaged at 7.50. in 10 hours you could earn the money to buy more than 1000g

Ah, no. Even if you don’t deduct taxes and FICA from that, $75 is 6000 gems. 6000 gems is only 650-750 gold. But that does come close to 10,000 drinks at the current prices for what amounts to an aura.
Don’t forget you can continue to drink throughout the year and you will be able to continue working toward this next Wintersday.
RIP City of Heroes
