I’m very disappointed again that we will have so little time to play. It’s the holiday season for many of us. This means travel, spending time with family, and preparations for both…including shopping(which can be very time consuming). Many of us will miss out again this year.
Why not the full month of December to give everyone ample time to get the rewards?

I agree. I was kind of bummed when I found out that Halloween was going to be only 2 weeks and not the usual month. Also, it was a repeat of last year (already many issues with this involving the mini candy corn elemental and wardrobe) this is the first time since the first Halloween in GW1 that there hasn’t been any new content. I am really hoping we get new stuff for winters day!!!
The dev team typically takes a break around the holidays, so that might end up being a full month worth of Wintersday even if it doesn’t start until the 16th.
Well, it is not like we are getting enough fresh content to last a whole month. The short time frame is to gloss over the fact nothing is new this year.

All well and good, but starting it earlier would give people a better chance to get some of the wintersday things before they travel, get new games as gifts, etc,
