Hi.

Many areas of the game are struggling. WvW, sPvP etc. aren’t doing to well.

I understand the need to be festive and entertaining to people - this comes in the form of new and interesting events like the Mad King / Lost Shores / Wintersday.

But in 2 months we’re going to have 3 large events, each event has new mechanics, an interesting story and gameplay.

However, in those 2 months – from an sPvP’s perspective: very little changes have occured.
-Balance changes
sure… i guess.
-Paid tournies
ok.
-New PvP map
can’t be used in tournies – fine.

May I sincerely recommend something?
Please re-allocate staff assigned to the creation of these new events and place them on the PvP teams.
As a community I don’t think having 1.5 events per month is going to make this game stronger.
Core gameplay that’s diverse but robust will.

There’s obviously a staffing difference depending on the team, but I don’t see the core gameplay improving without a properly staffed team.

I doubt this will be “standard” it’s just “that time of the year” where we string together 3 rather large holidays… what do we have between Dec and Halloween… Easter and… and?? I am going to assume they will make an “event” based on a Tyrian calendar in there but other than that I suspect they will address your concerns.
