Anyone know where he is after the patch? I read somewhere they left him in for a while so that people can still exchange their stuff for a little while.

I’m wondering this too, for the mystic forge recipe and the tree that gives free gifts every day, we are going to have banks full of ugly stuff and snowflakes.

Snowflakes will not be a huge problem since they are used in crafting. The others might just have to toss out the clothing, after salvaging.

Nooooooooooo don’t toss out! Put in the bank until vendor is around or next Wintersday – you know it will be the same stuff again. :P

They are consistant as that vendor disappeared every time after wintersday was over.
Same with Halloween.
You cant trade with plastic fangs, nougat and skulls anymore.

I’m pretty sure the red/magnanimous bell is/was cheaper on the auction house than the total value of the sweaters needed to buy it, anyway.

What do you mean? There isn’t a wintersday gift exhange merchant to exchange out the ugly clothing for something actually worth something.

If you mean selling the ugly stuff on the TP then that is not what I mean.

I’m very sorry i have a lot of ugly clothes left that i forgot to trade before the end of Wintersday. I don’t have all of my toons equiped with infinite gathering tools and these boxes are very convenient.

The toolboxes still drop from wintersday gifts. Wintersday Gifts are still available fr4om a home instance tree, the trading post or forgeable via snowflakes (10 each t2-5).

The organized and regular frostbitten toolboxes is what I’d like to trade in the ugly clothing for. I know of several others that are disappointed that the NPC wasn’t left in for a little while longer.

The organized frostbitten toolbox I was mentioning doesn’t drop from Wintersday gifts, only the regular one does.
The regular toolbox gives you randomly one of the 3 gathering tools.
Instead, the organized version lets you choose your tool, that’s a huge difference for me.

So, the organized frostbitten toolbox is not available anymore, was an item only ugly clothing was able to buy me, and was actually worth something.
