Guild Wars 2

Just as the title states, one of my favorite holidays and I’m sure the favorite of many other holiday lovers out there, is coming up! I can’t wait to see how they’ll lay out decorations and designs this year, I absolutely loved the Divinity’s reach decorations last year and Hopefully we can see them again. (Doubtful since LA is fixed, but fingers crossed).

Anyway to get to the point, I was wondering what sort of fun Ideas we could have with items from the gemstore and thought… Hey! Why not take those ugly sweaters, socks and hats and make them Gemstore Items! Dun dun dun….. I mean why not? Who doesn’t wanna see their char running around in some dorky little ugly sweater or lil ugly socks to match up with them. These can replace normal armor pieces, and hopefully will just be separate armor skins and not an outfit.( Like the scarf and earmuffs!)

That’s my lil wintersday wish list in a nutshell as far as GW2 goes.
What’s everyone elses ideas? What would you like to see?

I want to see fewer boxes within boxes within boxes this year, please. Just give me the ugly wool items; don’t make me open a box to get a box that I have to open, only to be given an item I then have to salvage before it’s usable.

I’d also like to see a new event or two tied to the festival this year. :0

Maybe even blinking lights…

I’m not looking forward to being showered in boxes within boxes and multiple junk items including countless gathering tools and so on.

But otherwise it’s fun – I’d like to see new songs in the Bell Choir though.

I kind of liked the way we got luck from those boxes too, and not 10 luck. It was a minimum of 50 luck.
If I want luck, I promote snowflakes to make Giant Wintersday Gifts (boxes of boxes) which give good luck.
Definitely looking forward to the events too.

I’d like to see some new skins. They are getting tired. Being the same ones for every event over and over. Halloween for example. The best shield skin imo isnt even offered anymore. But the same tired skins for 3 years is ugh. Holidays are important to us. Give us something new! Not the same content i got 3 years ago. Its cool for new players. But us veterans would like something else. But i have a feeling this will be the same as last years wintersday.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of new stuff during Halloween. I mean, all the events were the same, but new weapons and skins were nice and rather unexpected with HoT launching at the same time.

So I have high hopes for Wintersday.

Something that engulfs you in a blizzard of sparkle glitter like turning you into a giant snowglobe, perhaps?

I’ve always felt like a floating snowflake (or perhaps a snow cloud) akin to the Toxic Spore back item would be pretty awesome, too. Though hopefully that wouldn’t be Nightfury levels of costly, or I’d never get it >.<

The things I look forward to most from the old content are the jumping puzzle, Bell Hero and the airship dungeon and those are all pretty much guaranteed to come back.

Other than that I’m hoping for the Wintersday Mystery Box minis (the Snowman, Infiniarium and Festive Golem, and Foostivoo the Merry) to come back, preferably in a way that doesn’t involve buying an RNG box with gems. But I know that’s pretty unlikely.

I hope I get a chance to get the Star of Gratitude that eats Empyreal Fragments.

After a session of opening boxes to open more boxes to salvage the contents or sell, one by one to a vendor because no one wanted that junk, I had a strong suspicion that that was rewards designed by the manufacturers of Tylenol.
