Wintersday items -- Earned by random kills?
I think in PvE I just am not sure.
not afaik. But jumping puzzle chests give the ugly clothes for some reason..
They drop wintersday presents in PVE I believe. Just like mobs dropped ToT bags for Halloween.
i don’t really recall anything dropping from mobs. It was all from doing the Wintersday events in Divinities Reach, and the sPvP reward track. Maybe a WvW reward track this year.

Wintersday gifts have dropped from random kills in the past. And of course you have the giant presents that you can interact with (kill the toys, steal the gifts) in many of the maps.

I think I was too busy racing around to orphans to turn in wrapped presents for karma then exchanging the karma for the boxes of mats and doing wintersday dailies to do much PvE killing. Lol.

I think I spent every spare moment in the jumping puzzle last year. After I finally managed to get through it. Just had to find the right song to jump to the beat to I guess.
