Wintersday launch?
Okay, I’m sure there is a thread on this, but I can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone have any idea when it starts on European servers?

I dont know, but after the last event debacle…this one isnt off to a promising start. On the official GW2 webpage here, it has December 14. Isnt that today for much of the world? I thought I read somewhere that it was kicking off at 1pmEST on 12/14.
My god I hope they don’t screw this one up. Im actually looking forward to this one as opposed to the last one. I can only imagine the backlash they will receive if they cannot launch this off the ground successfully.

The only definitive time given was for Tixx to arrive at 1pm EST on the 15th.

I believe he’s referring to the patch hitting sometime after 11pm PST. Which basically deployed with minutes to spare to technically fall under the promised date.
