Do we know how to get this? Has it been discovered?

Maybe it’s a reward for the finale although I’m trying to remember if previous years had one.

A few people have claimed that it comes from Trick-or-Treat bags and is account bound on acquire, but apparently no one has felt confident enough to update the Wiki with that information.

My current guess is that it will be a gem store item and will be released tomorrow. Simply because it’s obviously Halloween related and I would have thought if it was obtained another way we would know about it by now. But I could well be wrong on that.

Another idea I’ve heard is that it’s a reward for collecting all the cats in your home instance and won’t be obtainable until they’re all in, but I’m not sure what that’s based on. It may be a mix-up with the Feline Familiar you can add to your home instance by feeding it.

The mini isn’t in the API, which means that no has gotten one though any means.

Eventually it’ll be purchasable for 300 cobs, no worries.

But for the moment , you summon the witch Cat by using the enchanted broom that is included with the Witch Outfit.

Probably the last set of Halloween themed items is up on the TP and the Mini Feline Familiar isn’t included, so it looks like that’s not how it’s obtained.

It still hasn’t appeared in the API, so no one’s obtained it in game either. Here are some possibilities:

• There will be more stuff in the gem shop Friday (weekend prior to RL Halloween)
• It’s a mystic forge recipe that no one has discovered.
• There’s an in-game “quest” that no one has discovered.
• It appears as an item because an NPC uses it as a ‘mini’ (and none of us have noticed).
• ANet had completed enough work on it to include it in the test patch…and it got approved for release, but pulled at the last minute for [reasons], thus it would appear in the .DAT file, but not in game.
• ANet is trolling us, to see what weird things we do when we see something we like in the .DAT file.

its in your Hero panel as a mini, so its not just a code someone ripped, its in your list of things you can get

Yes I saw that to ^^ and figured its a clue.

Question is if this is a clue for the mini or for the home-instance-cat. The cat for the instance is obtained this way.

Agreed but I don’t know why they would give us clues to that we already know clearly how to do it.

Probably a hint towards the home instance cat OR just hinting at the new functionality of the broom itself to summon the cat.

As to why hint at it when its already known… not everyone reads reddit / the forums. But something that shows up in the launcher is more likely to be seen. And its not like more hints are a bad thing.

Please do not provide marketing ideas. You know they will make it happen.

I can’t find a cat in the black lion vaults. There are a lot more weapons merchants in the sealed off room than I remember from last time I looked, but no cat that I could see.

It may be that we have to do something specific to make it appear though.

I also checked the vaults (at night) and I followed Evon Gnashblade on his rounds to see if a cat showed up anywhere on the route or if he said anything but nothing…. I also saw a lot more merchants in the sealed off room. I also rode my broomstick and that triggered nothing… I don’t have the witch’s outfit so I hope it isn’t tied to that like the home instance cat familiar is. Possibly someone with that could try to summon their familiar in the vault and see if anything unusual shows up?

i have the witch outfit and went all over the vaults with it on and my feline familiar summoned using the broom. Nothing changed, nothing out of the ordinary. My friend and i have been searching for any clues for the past hour.

I think that there are still a few possibilities of whats going on:

1. Either its a gemstore item as people suggest that anet has not put out; and could possibly put out on monday next week; october 31st . Halloween. Or the first of November incase halloween is extended to Nov 8th or onward which has happened in the past.
2. The “hint” anet gave could just be referring to the ability to summon the feline familiar with the broom; and has nothing to do with the miniature version. which seems likely :\
3. someone on reddit suggested mystic forging gwynn, the new raven mini, thailog the gargoyle, and charles the skeleton. I have Gwyn but i havent tested if you can put him in the Mystic toilet. So i dunno about this one; perhaps just a troll post/suggestion

I just bought the Feline Familiar mini too! Now where is the Witch’s Outfit? Add it to the gem store, please.

I bought it too. But it took me longer than Gaile because first I had to buy gems, then I had to put in the correct card details…

But I got it eventually.

The mini is just a mini. They won’t have special interactions that NPCs have.
