Please bring back the bunny ears and aviator glasses and wide rim glasses and the other things that people are so eager to get their hands on. There’s no reason to take good items out of rotation.

Really? Because this one dips lower on the back than the Witch Hat, I’ve always found it a lot easier to use, since it’s not as obvious that your hair disappears.

A big thank you from me too for the Wizard’kitten release.

I knew my Asura would be in hog heaven, but, surprisingly, it was my female Human warrior, who was the most thrilled with it. She has real pale skin, and wears long pants (Heavy Plate leggins that looks like baggy pants on her from behind) and long a long sleeved top (Worn Chain Coat that looks like a sweater with a white shirt underneath.)

She took one look at the hat, grabbed it,scrunched all her hair up into the hat, and is very happy that her head is now also protected from the harsh sun.

I love that it dips lower in the back. It brings the look together

Now that you say that, the Devil Horns were originally free as well, then brought back for 200 gems, so I suppose there’s precedent there.

I think people are generally just happy to be able to get it again, regardless of the price, and the fact that it’s not higher is just icing on the cake.

Of course, people might be mad if it were, say, 400 gems. 200 seems just about right, in line with Festive Hat, Top Hat, Fuzzy Bear Hat etc. Compare with Glint’s Masks or Queen’s Masks, which are 400-500gems.

I realize that. But they could have just as easily made the price anything they wanted. It was free in 2012, but has since become an exclusive artifact of old events, and they know a lot of people wanted it.just because it was free 4 years ago, doesn’t mean they couldn’t cash in on it now, and they did, but rather modestly IMO. It’s still cheaper than some of the other 1-piece items that end up in the gem store.

I’ve had it since it first came out, but have yet to use it because of not having a dye channel (for characters that don’t look terrible with it taking off their hair). I’m extremely happy they finally added one!

Necroing the thread a tad, but does anybody know if Anet will re-introduce this hat (or Witch’s hat) again in the near future? I just realised it was in the store a month ago while I had a little break from playing GW2.

This is the single item i REALLY WANT in this game and I’m really sad about missing it :P

Alas, no one has any idea whatsoever when it’ll be back. It’s possible it will return for an anniversary sale at the end of summer, but there’s no guarantee, especially when this is the first time it’s come back, unlike outfits that come and go pretty frequently.

Of course, the March sale wasn’t really tied to any event, unless you count spring, so it’s really anyone’s guess when something like that will happen again. Sorry!

Ah, I see. Well then – we’ll see how it goes :P I only hope it’ll reappear soon-ish.

People are happy with the new patch. Anet adds item that hasnt been featured in a long time. Ergo, A-net makes a lot of money today.

they literally just had the bunny ears for a big sale. they ARE cycling things back. just not permanently.

The witch hat was an event item from the first Halloween. Thorn gave it out so it was never in the shop. It doesn’t need to come back imo. Everyone can have the wizard hat but the witch hat should stay off limits. GAME ON
