Can you guys allow us to dye this item? Please???

I guess its not hard to do so…

It was originally a Gandalf the Grey thing, so that’s why it doesn’t have dye channels.

I WISH THEY WOULD ADD THEM. #sorryforallcaps

I very much would like dye channels on it so I can have my elementalist stroll around like a wizardy boss.

I am using it on my elementalist all the time, and I am always like: maaan, this thing would look even more epic if it was dyeable….

so, what’s the deal with this ANET?

From the moment it appeared people (including me) have been wanting it to be dyeable. Even just one dye channel, please? As it is it doesn’t match any of my alts’ preferred color palettes and so it languishes even though it’s adorable on some of them.

Though it looks best on my sylvari in her Cook’s outfit, which is not a possible combination in the current all-or-nothing outfit system. Maybe they can introduce a dye channel for the hat at the same time they make hats mix/match with outfits.

I wish I could use the shadow abyss dye on it QQ.

I don’t use the skin because I have yet to find a suitable arrangement with that shape and color.

I hope that this experience will prevent ANet from ever releasing an un-dyeable armor skin again, even if this one never gets the colorful ‘makeover’ it deserves.
