First off I want to say I absolutely adore this shield. Everything about its look is fantastic.
The only problem I have is that it is a shield
I can’t help but feel this would have been so much better as a backpiece.
But hey, that won’t come to pass so I will just have to enjoy it on shield users.
What does it look like when it’s “sheathed,” though? Interestingly enough, shields will override the current back piece, and I actually use a shield on a few alts simply for that effect because I feel like it’s a way of utilizing a weapon skin as a back item, albeit temporarily or when out-of-combat.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see when someone finally makes it and posts a video online. I’m hopeful that it still has some minor animations going on when it’s put away (that is, when it’s worn on the back).
This shield is indeed awesome though
