Since this last patch has altered the world boss timers, it seems that alot of players are confused and either don’t know about 3rd party web sites or are using the old megaserver page( https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/the-megaserver-system-world-bosses-and-events/ ) as a resource for the times.

Anet either needs to update a new page(why should I use a 3rd party site for a major part of the game) or implement a UI ingame for the timers.

Personally I was using the old megaserver page since it showed times in US Pacific time, US EST and Central EU time.

Either update the page Anet, create a new one, or place something ingame for us please

What makes it worse is that they did not give any referential times in the patch notes for the less hardcore rotations. So, I guess we are all supposed to teleport across the maps every 15 minutes to find out which boss is up.

Plus, Europeans got the short end of the stick with the new hardcore rotation, placing Tequatl at really inconvenient times. Now it is quite biased towards Americans who get one of the “big three” every hour during their main online times.

Most of Europe is on the same exact time frame as the time zone that Arenanet is based in (Tequatl @ 6PM & 10PM), but sure?

What timezone are you in?

May I ask you how many timezones you think NA has?

“Whose Kitten is this?” – “It’s a Charr baby.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

Please use wiki. The page has been updated with the new rotation. (Karka Queen and the Shatterer are both active as of writing at 1800UTC).

Be reminded, the full schedule is not updated!

That link is in UTC.
Why should I have to convert times for every world boss, even though that page isnt updated?
Anet NEEDS to place an ingame UI with times in the friggen game!!!
That way there is 0 confusion about updated times with a patch since the game will already have the updated time list.
Why is it so hard for you Anet???

Right now it’s probably not accurate, but she posted in response to someone who asked that the person that came up with that is working on it. Not sure how to tell when it’s ready, though. :\

You are raising hell about a fan update wiki that is not updated mere hours after an update…..get some patience, I’m sure it will get updated properly.

As far as UTC conversion, it’s pretty simple math.

Being OUTRAGED about this is rather silly. I don’t disagree some in-game tool to get the info would be nice, but this would be a new feature as it’s never been in the game before…..why is it such a big deal now?

Why is it so hard for you Anet???

The page has your local time as well. Or you can switch your in-game clock to server time, which uses UTC since few patches ago.
The Current events section grabs information directly from the template so it must be correct.
The full schedule part is hand-written by wiki contributors. You, or anyone, can edit it to reflect the patch change.

I do not comment on in-game boss timer as I recall anet wants a clean UI from the beginning.

But the UTC times are wrong.

Karka Queen was 20:00 CEST which is UTC +2. Notes say the queen will be 19:00 UTC. I think they forgot to implement the summertime since they listed PST instead of PDT.

German notes seem to be correct in regards to the times.

May I ask you how many timezones you think NA has?

May I ask you how many timezones you think Europe has?
May I ask you why you think that has any relevance to the question why the Americans get six uninterrupted hours of hardcore boss spawns and we do not, or rather: we do, but in the middle of the night, which is the exact reason why we have one hour without boss spawn right in the middle of our evening time?

EDIT: Nevermind, indeed the times given in the patch notes are wrong. They jumped one hour at 18:00 UTC and everything after that is one hour off. No problem in that case.

UTC times are wrong anyhow just subtract one hour for the correct time. They obviously converted PST in UTC, which does not give correct values as long as PDT is active. They simply published the times for Winter instead of Summer if I am right.

Ya, there is no confusion about times at all………
Get it together Anet, either publish a correct webpage with a list like you did when megaserver was 1st introduced or toss an API timer ingame.

Simply because what you said would have never been true for all zones. Point is within your average “evening” time (talking about all zones) you are pretty much guaranteed each boss to spawn.

“Whose Kitten is this?” – “It’s a Charr baby.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”

Hey, look at it from the bright side – last night right after the update, I went on an hour early before Tequatl, but instead of finding the quiet afk map, I found that Tequatl had his butt positioned on top of my head. :<
