Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if it was still possible to change worlds for free by deleting all your characters. Currently, none of my characters have anything valuable, and I would like to transfer to a server with more WvW activity.

Yes, if you delete all characters, you can change for free

My question now is, if you craft ascended/legendary gear, put it in your bank, then delete all characters… Can you switch servers, make a new character, level it to 80, and use the ascended/legendary gear you had in your bank?

As long as the item is account-bound, you can use it on any character – new or old.
